Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden
Les Terrasses is a 5 Min walk away from the Rycroft Gate of Kirstenbosch. The gardens are set against the east slope of Table Mountain and display the unparalled diversity of the Cape floral kingdom. The estate is 528 hectares and only indigenous South African plants are grown. Many hiking trails start at Kirstenbosch and the bird life is prolific. On Sunday evenings from December to March there are sunset concerts on the lawn. Take a picnic and meet the locals.

V&A Waterfront (15 minute drive)
The Waterfront is a working harbour. Shops, restaurants, pubs, movies and markets are what make up this vibey and social hotspot of Cape Town. Framed by Table Mountain and the sea, the V&A Waterfront is the most visited destination in South Africa. It is from here that you catch the ferry to Robben Island and helicopter and boat trips up the coast. The Two Oceans Aquarium is also well worth a visit.

Table Mountain (20 minute drive)
You can access this famous landmark using the cable car from the city side or you can hike from our doorstep. This is recommended for experienced hikers only or with a guide. This is a 4-6 hour hike to the top cable station

Newlands Cricket and Rugby (7 minute drive)

Wine farms of Constantia (7-15 minute drive)
This is the oldest wine making area in South Africa, dating back to 1685. There are 7 wine estates in close proximity. The Constantia Valley Wines have won numerous international accolades and have been sought after by Napoleon Bonaparte. Several of the farms have excellent restaurants.

Peninsula Drive/Tour
Follow the coast road around the Southern Peninsula and you can experience the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay, historical Simon's Town, the African Penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point Nature Reserve and keep a look out for the Southern Right Whales which can be seen close to the shore from July to December.
